He is now healed." Passed from this life on December 25, 2005 at the Casa De Le Luz Hospice facility following a courageous three year battle with lung cancer. His cherished family surrounded him: wife of 39 years, Cheryle; sons, Dennis (Kristie) of Fort Campbell, KY and David (Kathy) of Bettendorf, IA; his parents, Jesse and Novie of Tucson; and his wife's parents, Warren and Lillian Ostlund of Fresno, CA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Erin, William, Megan, Destiney and Annabelle; and brother, Barry (Linda) of San Antonio, TX. His daughter, Cristin; and his brother, Jimmie, preceded him in death. Born on October 26, 1945, he grew up in Corpus Christi, TX.

A Vietnam veteran, Don enjoyed a 20 year career in the U.S. Air Force including 12 years living in Europe. He was proud to have spent nine years working directly for the Supreme Allied Commander of Europe. Upon retiring from service, he moved to Tucson in 1986. His second career was with Lockheed then Learjet.

He retired in 2003. Per his wishes, a private memorial celebrating his life was held to spread his ashes on the desert he loved. He was a special man who deeply loved his family. All those who knew him will miss him. TiltonB.

Newell 6, 1917 December 27, 2005 Tilton Newell, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather passed away surrounded bv family and friends early Tuesday morning. He spent his last days and hours as he had his whole life, considering trie neeas or oiners oerore his own. Til was a man of qreat personal intearity, alwavs choosing the wise and morally right path without effort or rearet. He vaiuea honesty ana forbearance in himself, yet his understanding and forgiveness for others was inexhaustible. The gentle kindness and warm generosity he gave to everyone he met left him a legacy of devoted mends ana family who win forever honor the gift his presence was to them.

He was born in Chillicothe, Missouri, the on child of James Perrv and Bertie Newell. He began playing drums in 5th grade, the beginning of a lite-long adventure. Playing drums in high school and college, he formed his own "big band" during the 30s, traveling around the country playing hotels, clubs and cruise shios. An auto accident in 1940 that resulted in a broken back, put the drumming business on hold. When WWII began he served in the Corps of Engineers across tne Miawest ana south.

When the war ended, he moved to California where he managed three j.l. Case Tractor distributorships. Later he ioined Nicholson Enterprises, a partnership that he enjoyed for the rest of his life. In the early years at Nicholson Enterprises he managed Ford Tractor distributorships in Oregon and California. He also worked in Detroit as national Director of District Dealer Relations for Ford Tractor Division.

Til moved to Tucson in 1968 to manage the El Dorado Guest Lodge at Wilmot and Speedway tor Nicholson Enterprises. He was one of the developers of the El Dorado Golf Course. He became involved with the development of Far Horizons East RV and manufactured home parks, for which he was the managing partner. As a devoted Tucson resident he was very active in the Royal Order of Jesters of the Sabbar Shrine, where his life long love of music and the drums came back into his life culminating in his participation as the drummer in the Sabbar Shrine Band when they won the National Championship. He was a member of the Tucson Rotary, which was near and dear to his heart, on the board of Square and Compass Children's Clinic, and a long time patron of the Boys and Girls Club.

Til married Edna Beningfield in St. Louis in 1944. She predeceased Til in 1986 in Tucson. Their only child, Pamela O'Donohoe was born in 1949 and now lives in San Diego with her husband, Pat. His grandson, Justin, now serves in the U.S.

Army in Ft Drum, NY and his second grandson, Kyle, is beginning U.S. Navy Flight Training in Pensacola, FL. Til married Mabel Shreve in 1990, and is survived by his loving and devoted wife and her family; Terrv. Donna, Grant, and Clare Shreve, of Tucson; Mike Bevins of Tucson; Vicki Brumbelow, and Shane, Bamoi, Paige, ana uoay Miner, Goose Creek. South Carolina.

A memorial service is being arranged in March 2006. Tiburcia Liduvina Ruiz (Abuela Luba) 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother died peacefully surrounded by family on January 4, 2006 at her daughter's home, in Tucson, Arizona. Abuela Luba was preceded In death by her husband, Diego J.

Ruiz and her grandson, Sotero M. Fuentevilla. She was the last one in her family of three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by a large, loving family and dear friends: ner daughters, Arminda (Sotero) Fuentevilla, Angela (Jose de Varona, Ada (Manuel) Fernandez, and sons, Diego (Emma) Ruiz, and Dagoberto (Miriam) Ruiz. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Elena, Ana, Marta, Miguel, Diego Emma Miriam, Mayra, Madeleine, Daguito, Hada, Marilola, Angela, Fe, Jose, Bella, Adita and Laura.

Survivors also include: 27 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who adored her. Abuela Luba was born in Pipian, Habana, Cuba on April 14, 1911, and was very proud of her humble beginnings. When her husband died in 1950, she became a businesswoman, taking a new unexpected role running the farms. Abuela was always a strong woman and the matriarch of our family. She loved every child in our extended family and even friends called her "abuela." She came to the United States in 1964 and was very proud when she became an American citizen.

She used to say that she will always be a Cuban, but now she was a proud American. She did not miss an election since she became eligible to vote. Abuela brought with her from Cuba strong family values and wonderful cooking skills. Nobody cooked like abuela! The greatgrandchildren would always delight on the sweet concoctions that abuela would make especially for them. She was very generous with whatever she had and with her time.

She proudly claimed that she raised every one of her nieces and nephews in Cuba and her grandchildren in the United States. She would travel by bus, by train and by airplane to and from Albuquerque, Miami, Tucson, North Carolina and California to tender her family. Abuela Luba will be greatly missed. Mr. Shrum served in the Pacific Theater with the U.S. Navv during WW II and has resided in Tucson for the past 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Grace Elizabeth (Garton) Shrum; sons, Jerome Alan Shrum of Miramar, FL, Thomas Lawrence Shrum of Conway, AR and Kenneth William Shrum of Ft. Collins, CO.

He was the proud grandfather of Hilary, Kayla and Ian Shrum, all of Conway, AR; Emma and Anne Shrum of Ft. Collins. CO. He leaves three sisters, Alene Vogel of Bozeman, MT, Janet Nova of Albany, uk ana Marianne wniting or Tucson. Mr.

Frances was born February 22, 1915 in Coon Rapids, Iowa to William and Jeanette Moylan. She was one of seven children ana was born and raised on the farm. She lived the first 73 years of her life in Iowa, over 30 years of that time in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Frances was a loving mother and grandmother with a gentle sense of humor and a warm mile. She had a strong appreciation her Irish heritage and instilled that in her children. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling later in her life. One of her greatest gifts was her ability to love and nurture children, which she did for many years as a foster grandparent in the Fort Dodge Public Schools. Her Karl Klein preceded her in death.

She is survived by her three sons, Bill 'Klein (Karen), Mark Klein (Deanna), Brett Klein (Lori) and her grandchildren, Anthony Klein (Angelina), Christopher (Deana) Harris, Andrew. (Alison) Harris, Joseph and Sean Klein, Sarah and Rebecca Klein and many nieces and nephews and their extended families. In accordance with her wishes her ashes will be taken back to Iowa this summer for internment. Patricio Armando Zurfta April 12, 1953, fulfilled his mission of service to his fellow human beings and returned to the Heart of Love on September 1, 2005.
