Melvin Itatheal, superintendent of missions for the Catalina Baptist Assn. For past conferences, Dr.

itatheal said at least five Tucsonans have been certified as official messengers or delegates each year. Owen Cooper, president of the convention, should be reelected for a second term, said Dr. Ratheal. Cooper is a businessman from Yazoo, Miss. One of the important matters to come before the messengers will be the approval of the $35 million budget for Foreign Mission Board work.

Half each Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with Rabbi Arthur R. Oleisky providing brief sermonic messages. Canter Maurice Falkow and the Rev. Elmer Appel will chant the services.

The Daily Minyan Services will be continued Sundays through Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. The Friday Services will be at 6 p.m. and the Saturday afternoon Minha Services will begin approximately 30 minutes before sundown. Grads' Program All graduating members of Broadway Christian Church will be honored during tomorrow's 10:45 a.m.

for children will be sponsored this summer by the Home and School Assn. of the Catholic Diocese of Tucson. The program will start June 14 and end Aug. 16. Ten selected and approved movies for children will be shown at the El Dorado and Catalina Theaters Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Mark's United Methodist Church has been signed with the McArtluir Construction said the Rev. Orlie White, pastor. Construction is expected to begin within a week. The work of the McArthtir company, for S58.216, will include the major part of the actual building, said F. McMillin, general chairman of the building committee.

The plumbing contract was signed with the Nicholas Plumbing Co. The church budget does not allow for the completion of the building at this time, said the pastor. Under the figure there will be no outside finish, no ceiling, heating or cooling, no closets, no floor covering and no paint. These finishing jobs will be done by church members as Ihe church can afford to buy the materials. Ornund was broken for the unit April with all members turning a shovel of earth.

The new confirmation class will be received into church membership tomorrow at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Church school will be discontinued during June, July and August, said White. In July and August the Sunday worship service will be advanced to 9:30 a.m. when St.

The m. Rev. Mr. Harte, of Phoenix, is bishop of the Episcopal Church in Arizona. "A visit to this parish by the Rishop always is special," said the Rev.

Keith Kreitner, rector, "since the first service that Bishop Harte officiated at in this diocese was at St. Paul's Church." A small class of adults and children will be presented to the Bishop for the "laying-on-of-hands" ceremony. After the sei-vice a reception will be given to honor the newly confirmed and Bishop and Mrs. Harte. The entire service and reception will be open to the public, said Father Kreitner.
