Space Suit Puts Ailing Farmer On His Feet SYCAMORE, 111., July 15 iff) Lester J. Strack wears a high-altitude pressure suit just so he can keep his feet on the ground. "It works just fine," said the 69-year-old Sycamore, 111., farmer. Feel better fart. 60 with high rack John Wesley Schroeder, 32, was in poor condition in a Phoenix hospital Saturday with eight bullet wounds suf fered in a gunfight with Scottsdale police Friday. Chicago 'Y' Hotel Accused Of Racism CHICAGO, July 15 iff) Eight Negroes picketed the Wabash Avenue YMCA Hotel Saturday carrying placards protesting what they termed Jim Crow employment policies.

They distributed handbills bearing the name of the International Club, a group claiming integration aims, which asserted that, although half of the hotel's 353 employes are Negroes, none hold supervisory, clerical, desk or elevator operator jobs. Spooner Saturday signed a confession that he shot and killed two Colorado officers last Wednesday when they found weapons in his automobile along the highway, Sheriff William Terrill announced the signing of the confession. He said Spooner made it after being awakened at 8:30 A.M. and eating a big breakfast.
