Ecology Film To Be Shown By Wildlife Group "Man, Beast and the Land," a film about the ecology of the Serengeti Plains in Africa, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. today in the Wilmot Branch Library. The movie will be presented by the Mearns Wildlife Society (La Sociedad Mearns de la Fauna Silvestre), a newly formed organization based in Tucson. It has a projected membership which will encompass the ecological bordering Arizona, including California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Baja, Chihuahua, Sonora and the Gulf of California. The Mearns Bulletin will be published in both English and Spanish.

Regular field trips will be conducted to study and observe wildlife and habitat. Meetings are set for once a month, featuring lectures and films relating to wildlife. Auditions for new chorus members will be held Friday through May 8 at the" Chorus Hall, 330 S. 3 District Paving Community's Needs To Be Parley Topic "Taking Stock of Our Community's Needs" will be the theme of the spring conference and annual meeting of the Tucson Community Council, which will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. Until 2 p.m. at Tucson High School. Four concurrent divisional meetings will work to identify the health and welfare problems of greatest significance for the community and rank the problems in the order of their priority. This determination of community priorities will constitute the first part of a new community profile and priorities scale to be used by the new United Community Campaign Tucson Community Council planning and allocation division.

Reports from each of the four divisions will be made to the total conference group as an indication of the overall priority needs in the community.
